There’s a pretty cool animation on Apple’s iPhone design page which shows the screen being unlocked and the icons flying in. I couldn’t figure out how they made this work with just a <canvas> element, and no video. Luckily, David Bloom, a much smarter person than I, has managed to deconstruct this super-slick animation. It’s pretty hacky, but it works really well.
