Speaking of maps apps, Apple’s app suggested a route in Australia that would leave motorists stranded in a desert. I didn’t post about it here because it had been fixed by the time I heard about it.
Samsung decided to leap onto the controversy with a marketing stunt on George Street in Sydney. Clever, but by the time this display was up, Google’s maps app had its own issues. Good timing, Samsung.
