App Store Sales Top $10 Billion in 2013 ⇥ apple.com

Just the numbers from Apple PR:

• “customers spent over $10 billion on the App Store in 2013”
• “$1 billion in December alone”
• “developers have now earned $15 billion on the App Store”
• “more than 500,000 native iPad apps available”

Those last two numbers are big news, comparing against $13 billion in earnings and 475,000 iPad apps, as of October. Huge numbers.
