Vocabulary of Coffee Bars ⇥ nytimes.com

Not the double choca-mocha tokkalot with an extra shot and a dash of chocolate vocabulary, but rather some of the shorthand used by baristas (for the most part). Gimme! Coffee’s use of “Canadian” for a decaf Americano is interesting, especially given the more widely-used Canadiano definition as an espresso in a cup of drip coffee.
