The mid-2010s Mac slump is catching up to the unlucky purchasers, including yours truly. MacOS Sonoma drops support for the 2017 iMac, which was the latest model when I bought it just over four years ago. Not necessarily surprising, but it is unfortunate to experience the lingering effects of those bleak years for the Mac lineup.
