Hipster Uploads the User’s Address Book in Plain Text, Too ⇥

First Path, now Hipster, an app I’ve never used and never heard of. I bet they like it that way.

This is the same shit that was being pulled back in 2008 with Aurora Feint, which Apple pulled the plug on before the developer admitted their mistake.

Both Path and Hipster send their data in a very similar format, which I know is pretty standard JSON stuff, but I wonder if it’s a common library.
