Joseph Cox has a new book called “Dark Wire” coming out in June about Anom, a company that purportedly distributed highly secured phones but was actually an FBI operation.

Cox published a short teaser on Mastodon and was interviewed briefly by Ben Smith of Semafor. I am looking forward to reading this bizarre story. It is also becoming a Netflix movie.
