The first dozen or so of these URLs are preloaded into JS Blacklist; the rest are mostly from ad services which like to take over page content, move things around on the page, create infinite HTTP requests, or are otherwise assholey to readers. They, in my book, have lost their tracking and ad display privileges.

Change Log

September 27, 2016: Added streamrail.com, streamrail.net, casalemedia.com, 3lift.com, kargo.com, technoratimedia.com, webspectator.com, bluekai.com, connatix.com, sharethrough.com, and 2mdn.net for causing infinite HTTP requests. Blocking these providers prevented a Daily Dot article from transferring 60 MB and 3,200 HTTP requests in under five minutes.

August 23, 2016: Added api.bounceexchange.com and bounceexchange.com because those full-screen takeover ads that try to guilt you into entering your email address are unbearable.

June 11, 2016: Added liverail.com for causing infinite HTTP requests on nytimes.com.

April 26, 2016: Added adroll.com for similar behaviour to Criteo, skimresources.com to remove their faux link ads, and openx.net to try — in vain — to fix Mobile Nations sites.

April 22, 2016: Added criteo.com and criteo.net for running a scheme where they compel users to accept their ad tracking cookies by redirecting all links within other sites through their network. Also added ap.litjit.com for malware, and intentmedia.net for poorly-performing ads on major travel sites like Kayak and Hotels.com.

November 23, 2015: Added olark.com for running a scheme where they compel users to accept their ad tracking cookies by redirecting all links within other sites through their network.

July 3, 2015: Once again, attempting to fix Mobile Nations sites by blocking pubmatic.com, parsely.com, and chartbeat.net. Scripts from these domains were throwing a thousand warnings every couple of seconds. When they fix their terrible scripts, they can have their analytics back.

May 23, 2015: Modified cdn.adnxs.com to simply adnxs.com to block a variety of scripts that cause issues on Mobile Nations and TV Tropes. Also added doubleverify.com for throwing a lot of errors.

April 27, 2015: Added cdn.adnxs.com for throwing a lot of errors on the Mobile Nations family of sites.

January 6, 2015: Added po.st for doing Tynt-like things to copy and paste. Dicks.

December 31, 2014: Added moovmanage.com to block injected ads on Greyhound bus WiFi.

January 31, 2014: Added bop.fm to stop autoplaying music on Rap Genius.
